Anaïs Mitchell (1981-) is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and playwright. She has released eight studio albums, including Hadestown (2010), Young Man in America (2012), Child Ballads (2013), and Anaïs Mitchell (2022). The stage adaptation of Hadestown premiered at the New York Theatre Workshop in 2016, in the West End in 2018 and on Broadway in 2019. It won 8 Tony Awards.
