Artist statement and teaching philosophy
“My teaching style is energetic and I am particularly good at motivating my students to not only love music, but to also love the study of music. I am a firm believer in inspiration and that music can inspire every student toward self-betterment and finding beauty in life. As a teacher, I encourage my students to develop healthy practicing habits, a firm grounding in music fundamentals, and specifically a proficiency on the piano, and I hope that my students are able to participate in the joy and beauty that I have personally experienced by being a musician. I look forward to sharing my love for the piano and welcome students of all ages, all levels, and all backgrounds."
