Tenor and soprano saxophonist-flutist-composer-bandleader Dave Liebman continues to be one of the most significant post-Coltrane-influenced saxophonists working today. From his early work with Miles Davis to his recent stint with the renowned Saxophone Summit (including Joe Lovano and Michael Brecker), Liebman is a giant. His concerts are an intense tour de force of intricate modern jazz composition with blistering group improvisation. As a leader, Liebman will bring his quartet showcasing his compositional prowess and his ability on all manner of instruments. In addition to his touring, Mr. Liebman is a dedicated educator, published on the subject of jazz pedagogy. His group will work with area musicians in a workshop open to the public (call OFAM for tickets).

Dave Liebman plays Keilwerth saxophones exclusively. Thanks to The Music Group Inc. for their financial support.
