With accolades that include playing at the White House at the invitation of President Clinton and Hillary Clinton, and teaming up with artists like Joan Baez, Kris Kristofferson, Dwight Yoakam, Nanci Griffith, Pete Seeger, Flaco Jimenez, and Los Lobos, Tish’s sound has an undeniable and far-reaching appeal. With seventeen CD’s to her name, Tish’s distinct sound has gained her much critical acclaim. She has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe and continues to draw a loyal and growing audience. Tish brings her talents to Eugene to benefit the work of Centro Latino Americano in our community.
Since its founding in 1972, Centro Latino Americano (Centro) has served as the main avenue for the social and civic integration of the Latino population in Lane County. Serving more than 600 families annually, Centro empowers families by providing opportunities and building bridges for a stronger community. In the current negative political climate around immigration, Centro is creating a thriving, connected community where all people are valued.
