Michael Anderson and the micophilharmonic present an afternoon that features the music of Czech composers Antonín Dvořák (1841-1904), Leoš Janáček (1854-1928) and Tomáš Svoboda (1939): Janáček's Mládí (Youth) for wind sextet (1924), Svoboda's Concerto for Woodwind Quintet, Op. 111 (2002), and Dvořák's Serenade for wind instruments, cello and double bass in D minor (1871).
This concert is eligible for The Shedd's Free Shedd Classical Tickets for Youth program, which makes a free ticket to select 2022-23 Shedd Classical concerts available to students high school and younger. The program is made possible by support from Shedd benefactors dedicated to exposing young people to the European art music tradition in all its forms. Contact The Shedd Ticket Office for information. Usually, youth high school and younger received a 25-35% discount on most Shedd shows.
College students w/ current student ID receive a 50% discount.
