Hailing from Southern California, Alexandre began playing the electric bass in high school, switching over to the double bass after enrolling at Lane Community College. He earned several prodigious scholarships that allowed him to study jazz and classical music, as well as economics, at the University of Oregon. Now, Alexandre can be heard performing with groups such as Inner Limits, Whitaker Hot Club, and Swing Shift Jazz Orchestra.
