MARISA FRANTZ is a Eugene native, having been a part of various orchestras and musical groups since her youth. She traveled for a time singing, songwriting, and playing violin in a folk-rock band. While living in Nashville, she graduated from MTSU in education, as well as recorded on many albums as a hired musician. She currently leads the music at her church and continues to license and sell her music online. Marisa has been a frequent guest soloist with the Emerald City Jazz Kings’ Christmas and regular season programs for 8 years. This past summer she made her first appearance at Oregon Festival of American Music.
