Matt’s first Shedd Institute production was The Boys From Syracuse, and has since appeared in its Sweet Charity, Lady Be Good, Singing In The Rain, No, No, Nanette, Camelot (Squire Dap), Oh Kay! (Shorty McGee), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (Esmond Sr.), Gus Fielding in Babes In Arms, as Bud Frump in How To Succeed In Business…, Sheriff Bob in Whoopee!, and most recently as George Banks in Mary Poppins. Matt’s appearances with Eugene Opera, including Faust, La Boheme, The Mikado, Carmen, Nixon In China, Dead Man Walking, Girl Of The Golden West, and most recently Sweeny Todd. Other credits include Trouble In Tahiti and Dr. Miracle (in which he performed the title role), The Merry Widow (Camille de Rosillon), Die Fledermaus (Dr. Blind), and The Impresario (Mr. Angel).
