A Jazz Kings, Shedd Theatricals, Shedd Presents and Oregon Festival of American Music regular since her return to Eugene in 2014, Lynnea made her debut as artistic director at The Shedd in Be-Bop-A-Lula: Rockin’ Through The ‘50s, her new Shedd Presents mid-century popular music project, which continued last October with I’ll Fly Away: Southern Gospel, Southern Roots, and Some Bright Morning and I Can’t Stop Loving You March and April 2023 and this season with One Fine Day in October and Ring of Fire, coming up in April. She took her first turns as guest director at Oregon Festival of American Music at OFAM Winter 2022 with Stairway to Paradise and at OFAM Summer 2022 with Pick Yourself Up. Her turns as artistic director with The Emerald City Jazz Kings began with Isn't It Romantic, her tribute to Rodgers & Hart, last February and continues this weekend with her celebration of Cole Porter. Lynnea has appeared in 14 Shedd musicals, including Sweet Charity (Charity), The Pajama Game (Babe), Holiday Inn (Linda Mason), White Christmas (Betty Haynes), Guys And Dolls (Miss Adelaide), Singin’ In The Rain (Lina Lamont), Good News! (Professor Kenyon), Oliver! (Nancy), On The Town (Ivy Smith), Whoopee! (Harriet Underwood), How To Succeed In Business… (Hedy La Rue), Anything Goes (Erma Latour), and Babes In Arms (Dolores Reynolds). This coming season she appears as Molly in The Shedd’s production of Girl Crazy.
Lynnea has a degree in Musical Theater and Dance Performance from the American Musical & Dramatic Academy in Manhattan. During her years in Hawaii, she was seen in Cabaret (Sally Bowles) and Tony & Tina’s Wedding (Donna), and co-hosted Golfing Thru...Hawaii on OC16/KFVF and Jole Agnew’s Entertainment Talk Radio on KAOI..
