From rivers to lakes, sea to sea, and even in the shower, water is all around us, and there are so many songs to sing about it! Sing “Down by the Bay", “Erie Canal", “Roll On Columbia", “Octopus’s Garden", and “Ol’ Man River” as we travel across the different waters of the world. Find various waterways on a map, learn about the different layers of seas and rivers, discover crazy sea creatures, and even make some fun foods that remind us of underwater adventures! Shake and spin all the different instruments that remind us of flowing waters such as the rain stick, maracas, sand blocks and cabasa.
Water, Water Everywhere is the 4th of 4 summer camps offer by The Shedd Institute as a part of its 2016
Summer SongFest program for kids.

Each morning begins with a “warm up”, followed by learning the songs for the week’s theme. They will then get to learn about and play an instrument that has to do with the week’s theme. After a snack the campers will either get a chance to make their very own instrument or get dance instruction based on the theme. The campers end the day with a song circle to prepare them for their performance on Friday:
