Though he calls Eugene his home base, Theo has played music all over the world including France, Amsterdam, Germany and Canada and has toured with varied acts of many different genres.
Halpert is a renowned drummer, percussionist and pianist, who has worked with countless musicians around the Northwest music scene. He is a musician, engineer and producer with experience in Rock, Jazz, Blues, Soul and Latin. Theo received a Bachelor's of Arts from the University of Oregon and now teaches musicians of all ages and experience levels. He has been an integral part in encouraging musicians old and young to find their voice and develop their technique through a personalized and comprehensive teaching style. He is an active recording artist and currently plays with many notable bands, which include Skip Jones and the Spirit of New Orleans, Michael Tracey and the Hi-Tones, Reeble Jar, Woodland and The Motown Revue Band. He has also shared the stage with Curtis Salgado, Lloyd Jones, Medium Troy and Charlie Musselwhite. Theo has produced and played on many records for regional artists, which can be heard on the radio stations KRVM, and 88.1.
