It's a classic story of boy-chase-girl, girl-chase-boy, mistaken identities, high jinx, great fun, desperate measures, and at least two weddings at the final curtain...well, in this case, THREE! Filled with fabulous Cole Porter songs, breathtaking dances, and more than a few unforgettable lines, 1934's Anything Goes was the best musical comedy from a decade full of brilliant ones, and has continued to be a hit ever since!
In 2005 The Shedd presented you with the original 1934 version of this classic. This December we are pleased to lay down for you the 1987 Tony-Award-winning revival version, complete with an updated script by Timothy Crouse and John Weidman and a Cole Porter score that includes all of the original hits plus a few additional Porter plums: "Anything Goes", "I Get A Kick Out Of You", "You're The Top", "Blow Gabriel, Blow", "All Through The Night", "It's De-Lovely", "The Gypsy In Me" and more! Full of madcap antics and good clean fun, it a great evening for the entire family!
