The Rock Band class brings students together who already have some experience with their individual instruments to play together as a group. There’s room in the band for most instruments as well as singers. Students learn some rock music history and work up several classic rock songs to perform for friends and families during the final week of class. Rock Band leader Bibs Goff (a drummer and bassist himself) shows how to play around with song arrangements, modulating one pattern into another so that familiar songs like Wipe Out, Sunshine of My Life , and In the Garden of Eden sound just a little bit different.
