Artist statement and teaching philosophy
“My teaching style is relaxed and fun, and I am particularly good at meeting students at whatever level they are at and taking them to wherever they want to be. I am a firm believer in the healing power of music and that music truly is for everyone. As a teacher, I encourage my students to take what they need from their lessons and hope that my students learn to be inside the music instead of observing it. I look forward to sharing my love for the flute and music theory and welcome students of all ages and ability levels.”
