Artist statement and teaching philosophy
"I believe making music should be a fun journey of self-discovery. Part of the fun is learning basic musicianship skills and technique that can be applied to all genres of music: classical, pop, jazz, etc. The more we expand our grasp of the music fundamentals, the more choices we have in learning and performing music.
"I prefer to tailor my instruction to suit the goals and needs of the individual student, rather than following a lockstep approach. My objective is to give my students what they need to unlock all of their creative potential and experience the joy of music to its fullest!"
