Artist statement and teaching philosophy
“I have a strong belief that music is an essential part of life's fulfillment and take pride in enhancing the musical experience of individuals of all ages and levels. To encourage a love for music, my goal is for students to enjoy it, not think of it as something they "have to do." I value a solid foundation consisting of strong technique and rich musicality, which I endeavor to teach my students. With tastes encompassing a wide range of genres and music from around the world, I work with students to create a colorful palette mixed according to their own individual preferences.”
