Artist statement and teaching philosophy
“My number one goal is to meet a student right where they are, helping them find joy in music—whether it be through singing, playing the piano, the French horn, or any other instrument. I believe strongly in developing a good foundation in technique and music fundamentals, while at the same time making things paced and progressive, with the goal that students can achieve any level of musicianship he or she desires. But all in all, enjoyment is first, technique is foundational, and the heart is primary.”
