Artist statement and teaching philosophy
Amy’s music philosophy is: “Singing’s for everyone…Yes, it is! Many people are reluctant to explore singing in their lives, for countless reasons.” With humor, kindness and moxie, Amy coaxes the shy or apprehensive to find their voices and use them today.
What she teaches
Amy is the director of The Shedd Institute's vocal program and teaches choir.
