The Shedd Institute is excited to welcome back--for their 4th Eugene appearance-- the extraordinary Honey Whiskey Trio. First appearing on the Jaqua stage in the spring of 2013 at the first annual SheSings Women's A Cappella Festival, the trio (whose mellifluous harmonies really do remind one a LOT of their name!) returned to headline the 2nd Annual SheSings Festival and were immediately booked for The Shedd's 2014-15 Now Hear This presenting series. What can we say: we just can’t get enough of them!
Winners of the 2013 Harmony Sweepstakes National Competition, Honey Whiskey Trio (comprised of Courtney Gasque Politano, Ann Louise Jeffries Thaiss, and Christina Wilson) explores harmony in folk, bluegrass and any melody that catches the ear, captivating the imagination through their powerful, yet sweet harmonies, body percussion, haunting melodies and vitality...veritable storytellers in song.
