Kara Churchill (Alma Hix/ensemble) has performed with The Shedd since 2002, when she was a tap dancer in Crazy For You. Other favorite Shedd shows include Oklahoma (as Gertie), Sweet Charity (as a dancer), and The Sound of Music (as the uptight housekeeper Frau Schmidt). Kara had her directorial debut with Crimes of the Heart at Cottage Theater and also directed a "Musical Theater Triple Threat" workshop at Ballet NW Academy. Kara is a Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor as well as a Health and Fitness Coach.
